Shakshuka a Maghrebi

As per request of our wonderful year 11 girls, Mrs Z. Rizvi held a cooking session, within which the girls produced the much-loved dish Shakshuka.

Shakshuka a Maghribia is a famous North African dish, often associated with Morocco. It consists of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, olive oil, peppers and onions. The dish is spiced with paprika, black pepper and cumin.

The girls did a great job and needless to say, left the entire corridor salivating at the smell of their wonderful cooking!
